Dear Danielle:
The paper in the book is a little thicker but I think it is better for beguiners since is strong, easy to cut, and after you have fold the card will stand very good open.
The thinner the paper is you have to be more carefully while cutting.
I use Canson Mi-teintes 160 g/m2, I think that is one of the best papers and you can find it in different colors.

Best regards, Marivi

I do apologise. Thank you, Joyce too!
A question: Is the card you normally use that thick? So far I have used what is available where I am rather than buying online, which is either printer paper (too thin) or report cover card.
What kind of card do you recommend?
Thank you.
Danielle
