I wanted to say that I also use the Canson papers, they are thinner than the
Kent and other heavier stock papers, but this paper is amazing, it holds it
s shape, I use it all the time, Dick Blick on the Internet for sure sells it
That is where I buy it.

Max / Andrew,
While this will be my first post to this OA list it does not mean
that I am unfamiliar with OA. I have been doing such since the mid
'80s. I have used bristol for years with excellent results. I also
use 67lb and 120lb card cover stock with excellent results as well.
Usually what weight you would choose would depend upon how intricate
the pattern is. Whichever type of paper you choose I recommend that
you use acid free stock.
Hope that helps. Ken.

Hello every one;
This is also my first post to the OA list. I have been doing a framed
variation of OA using various subjects (churches, museums, lighthouses,
historical
buildings, etc.) for over five years. The mainstay for me has been Canson's
MI-TEINTES drawing papers, which are available from art & craft stores. When
you
combine them with a heavier card stock backing it makes a nice crisp
presentation.
Hope this helps.

Hello All:
I second Art's choice. I have been using Canson Mi-teintes for several
years in various applications (paper sculpture and OA). It comes in a good
variety of colors, has a nice tooth and is just thick/thin enough.
Recently, the local art supply stores I frequent have begun carrying 8.5"x11
sheets in all colors. I was also able to pick up a swatch book from one of
the stores. This is very handy for quick selection of colors.
Just my two cents.

The Aquabee paper is "neutral ph" (i.e., "acid free") as well.

Afternoon all,
Unbelievable, for months I did not find books of M.C. on ebay and now for

going to bid, good luck. I hope you will get it for a good price.
Have a nice weekend,

Jeff and others,
Seems that the link I've send before, did not work. Hope this works out
better. If not, please let me know and I will look in to it.
Ingrid.
