[Oa] How to attach pop-up (180 ° ) model to the base ?

I just noticed that no one had responded to this. The thread approach
is the only one I have used. The thread gets attached to the model with
glue and a little piece of rice paper over the top of it. I use a
needle to pull it through the base at the appropriate points and then
glue it to the opposite side of the base in the same manner (with a
little piece of rice paper over it). I generally put another piece on
the base, sandwiching the thread inside to hide it.

The longer you can make the thread on the base side, the more resistant
it is likely to be to pulling loose.
Some styles of 180-degree cards have an integrated base and do not need
attaching (see my previous post). That's just a matter of the specific
design, though.
